Welcome to the Perry Removals of Haverhill website. This website has been designed to help you through the process of moving home with information not only on the removal itself but on other pre and post removal day issues.
Perry Removals have seen Haverhill grow over the last 50 years. Haverhill sits in Suffolk just against the borders of Essex and Cambridgeshire. With a current population of 22,000 it is four times the size it was in 1962. From the small market town of the 1960's Haverhill swelled as a result of the housing scheme to accommodate the London overspill projects of that era. It takes it's name from 'Haver' [as in haversack], meaning backpack sack for holding wheat seed and the rising hill landscape of the Newmarket Ridge. Recent new employers , Culina Logistics, Percy Dalton snack foods and Tesco have provided much needed employment. Many residents commute to nearby Cambridge. The first written constitution of America was written by Nathaniel Ward who was born in the town and Nathaniel's brother Samuel is remembered in the name of one the schools. Nearby Sturmer village was the birthplace of Charlotte Rampling, whose father was an Olympic medallist and whose mother was part of the Gurteen family who still trade in the town.
Perry Removals have carried out 100's of residential moves throughout the area plus commercial moves for solicitors, schools, and factories.
